Recently refurbished with luxury and comfort in mind, The Annex at Aylmer is a gorgeous retreat for 2 guests and a furry companion.

Located in the quintessentially English seaside town of Brixham, the property is well situated for countless adventures or as a hideaway retreat for total relaxation. With countless attractions close by including Berry Head Nature Reserve, The Southwest Coast Path and Dartmouth just a short boat ride around the headland, there is plenty to explore. If it is the hustle and bustle of a seaside town that brings you to Brixham, soak up the working harbour and watch as the fishing boats bring in their morning haul then sample the freshly caught fish in one of the many cafes and restaurants nearby. 

If its visiting Brixham for a chance to slow down and recharge then The Annex is the perfect hideaway. Tucked away in private grounds with access to a communal pool and your own parking, pull up, unpack and chill the drinks for an afternoon by the pool. If only we could guarantee the sun! 

Accommodation: Lounge Russell Hobbs Fridge and freezer, Standard Auto-Cooking Microwave, Drop Leaf Table that can seat Two People, Wall Mounted 32" Bush Smart TV (Guests are welcome to sign into their Netflix Accounts, please remember to sign out on the day of departure), Two Seater Plush Sofa, Sideboard. Bedroom King Size (5') Bed (This can be unzipped to create two 2'6" Singles, if you would like the beds unzipped then please inform us when booking), Two Bedside Cabinets with Lamps, Free Standing Chair and Wardrobe. Bathroom Thermostatic Walk In Waterfall Dual Shower Head Shower, Basin, W.C.

Facilities: Parking: One Car on the Driveway by The Annex Gate Garden: Paved outside space provided with Bistro Set. Communal Swimming Pool provided between the Months of May to September.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Gas and Electricity is included in the rent. Under floor heating and heated towel rail provided in the bathroom. 

Bed Linen and Towels: Bed linen and towels are provided (Please bring your own beach towels). Notes - No Smoking. No pets allowed. Swimming Pool is only available May - September. Short Breaks Minimum of 2 Nights Accepted throughout the year. WiFi Provided. Please be aware there are no laundry washing facilities in The Annex, the Laundrette is 0.3 Miles away in St Mary's Square. Please be aware there are no kitchen facilities in this property.

A comfortable ideal base from which to enjoy the South Devon Coast. Close to all the amenities in Brixham town and easy travel opportunities to visit elsewhere. Quite simple facilities but more than adequate for anyone self catering. Particularly well equiped shower room.

The Annex at Aylmer offers pleasant and comfortable accommodation for up to two guests. Externally there is alfresco eating, vehicle parking and use of the outdoor swimming pool. The location has good access by foot, bus and car to Brixham town centre, the beautiful surrounding countryside and coastal areas as well as South Devon towns and villages such as Torquay and Dartmouth. It is also convenient for Agatha Christie's summer house of Greenway.

I loved my stay at The Annex, thank you. There’s so much to do in and around Brixham and it was in the perfect spot for it all - town, country or coast. I had everything I needed. A comfy bed and sitting room, tea/coffee, kettle and fridge, and the bathroom had plenty of space for rinsing and hanging sandy, wet clothes. The pool was an added bonus.
