Located in the heart of Dartmouth, Dancing Beggars is a quirky two bedroom townhouse. This property is the perfect base for couples or families with older children wanting to experience the charm and delights that Dartmouth has to offer. The town has something for everyone, with its array of eateries from fine dining to coffee shops, high street fashion stores to independent boutiques. Park your car up and you won't have to use it for the rest of your stay. The River Dart acting as the boundary between Dartmouth and Kingswear, offers an abundance of boat trips to river cruises, with its frequent passenger ferry over to Kingswear and then hop aboard the steam train to Paignton, passing by the most picturesque scenery, alternatively you could hire paddle boards for the day and immerse yourself amongst its beautiful surroundings.

Dartmouth is known for its naval college and nautical appeal, the owners of Dancing Beggars have certainly incorporated this into their interior decor. Each floor of the property features something that compliments Dartmouth extremely well, especially the hand-drawn mural at the foot of the staircase on the ground floor. Both bedrooms feature a double bed, Smart TV and additional seating to create that luxury feel. With its town location, dancing beggars features no real outside space, a small bistro set can be put outside the front door. 

Accommodation ground floor - Front door into open plan kitchen/living area with integrated electric oven, grill and microwave, ceramic electric four ring hob, slimline dishwasher, under counter fridge with countertop freezer, breakfast bar for two in the kitchen area. Wall mounted 40" Smart TV above open fire. Two, two seater sofa's and wooden settle, downstairs cupboard. Steep stairs lead up to the first floor - step up to modern luxury freestanding bath, extendable hand shower with thermostatic taps, separate electric shower, Jack and Jill sinks both with wall mounted mirrors, w.c., airing cupboard with washing machine. Bedroom with double bed (4'6"), two bed side tables with two bedside lamps, single wardrobe with mirror, chest of drawers, chaise lounge, 32" Smart TV (overlooks M&S car park). Landing, Steep  stairs continue up to the Second floor - Landing, Master bedroom with white wooden carved double bed (4'6"), two bed side tables with two lamps, 24" Smart TV with integrated DVD, single wardrobe, freestanding mirror with storage, side board with two drawers, Arm chair and coffee table, two seater leather sofa and ornamental fireplace. (overlooks M&S car park)

Facilities - Parking permit provided for Mayor Avenue car park, on a first serve come basis and for one car only. During Dartmouth Regatta, guests are instructed to use the park and ride at the top of the town.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Electricity is included. Underfloor heating provided throughout. Open fire provided in the living area. Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay (Please bring your own beach towels). Baby Equipment: please be aware due to the staircases, this property isn't suitable for young families, pre-crawling babies only. A beautiful fisherman’s cottage in the heart of the town. Clean and with lovely furnishings; very cosy and comfortable. The only negative would be the daily early morning noise from the next door M&S deliveries and drivers. Not a problem for us as the seagulls woke us first, but could be an issue for other users.
