This property is a charming Grade II-listed three-story townhouse located in the centre of Dartmouth. It overlooks the beautiful St Saviours Church and is part of one of the oldest streets in the town. The property is only a few meters away from the main shops, restaurants and cafes in the town, and upon your return, you can add a log to the wood burner and bask in its warmth.

This townhouse covers three floors, with the ground floor housing the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen provides all the mod cons needed to cook for a large group. The dining table is found here too for when you’re ready to serve up tasty meals. Head up three steps into the cosy lounge with a large corner sofa and a wood burner that guests are welcome to use to create the perfect warm environment for a night of watching a good film on the TV with the family. The ground floor is completed by a cloakroom WC. Up on the first floor is the master en-suite king-size bedroom which has a TV. This bedroom comes with a mezzanine galley with a single bed – perfect for a small family. There’s also a double bedroom with a TV and a family shower room. Heading up to the second floor, you’ll find another double with a TV, and a single room. Outside, there is a small terrace with a bistro table and two chairs.

Dartmouth itself is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the beautiful coastal walks, beaches and views will blow you away. Dartmouth has something for everyone. The quay is popular for crabbing and passenger and car ferries crisscross the river to Kingswear for easy access to Torbay (11 miles) and Paignton Zoological Conservation Park (8 miles). With the South Devon AONB on your doorstep, you’ll be spoiled for choice with walks, cycling, water sports and the pleasures of the River Dart all on offer. Heading a little further afield, Sugary Cove Beach is just 2 miles away.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show.

We stayed at the old bakery for 7 days and what a house, we're a family of five and we had loads of room. The property is a stones throw from several excelent pubs and right in the heart of town.
