Reviews

The cottage was quaint and very well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Mr James Faulkner,

We were made to feel very welcome. A card welcoming us was left in the kitchen, along with milk, tea, coffee and mince pies. A Christmas tree and other decorations had been put up and crackers, plus a bottle of presseco provided. Fire wood for an initial fire was also made available. All these things made it feel homely and special. The cottage was booked by my sister, who lives in the area, on our behalf.

Mrs Sally Bastock,

We absolutely loved this place! It was so homely, lovely and clean and so very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need whatever you chose to make or do! (We have an Aga at home so this wasn't an issue for us) We ate outside most of the time - or in the wonderful Fox and Goose pub just down the road. The beds were comfortable and luxurious, I loved having a dressing room and my son loved all the stairs and rooms leading to other rooms. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to return in the Autumn or at Christmas. It felt like a home from home and was so relaxing and welcoming. Well done to the owners and to Steph for making it so!

Mrs Paula Bill,

Would highly recommend Laurel Cottage, a lovely, relaxing base from which to explore the fabulous North Devon coast
