The Old Vicarage - Mortehoe
This outstanding Georgian vicarage in the heart of Mortehoe village backs onto open farmland along this dramatic National Trust coastline. Two cottages, Mailscot and Wykeham adjoin The Old Vicarage at either end and have use of a shared garden with children’s play area to the side of the house. The pretty village of Mortehoe is just inland from Morte Point and a short drive or exhilarating walk from the family beach resort of Woolacombe. There is a choice of pubs, tea rooms, restaurants and stores in the village and easy access to spectacular coast and country walks.
Tractor and trailer rides are also a fun and easy way of exploring the area. These are available for visitors of all ages and abilities through the National Trust and Mortehoe Museum. With two different trips available it is a great way of enjoying the local coastline and its wildlife.
