Description

A well appointed, spacious character cottage located in a most convenient location close to all the amenities of the thriving village of Braunton with its large choice of individual shops, pubs and restaurants.  The village is the heart of the surfing community being only a few miles from the dune backed, 3 mile stretch of Saunton Sands and spectacular cove beach at Croyde Bay (free parking for one car provided in Croyde Down End Beach Car Park up until end February 2019).  This charming cottage offers a contemporary style whilst retaining many of the character features of this original farmhouse.  A good sized open plan living area is a very comfortable retreat and has the advantage of a woodburner for those chilly evenings.  An attractive and well equipped kitchen offers ample space for all your needs and the separate dining area is ideal for leisurely meals with family and friends.  Two separate staircases lead up to the three attractive bedrooms on the first floor.   These are served by two quality bathrooms.  A fully enclosed private drive area to the side of the property offers parking for up to two cars and a seating area with garden furniture. A section of the garage is available to securely store cycles and surfboards.

South Street Farm gives guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy exploring the wonderful natural diversity of this part of North Devon with its a choice of fine sandy, surfing beaches,  coast and country walks and cycle paths(access to cycle hire and the Tarka Trail closeby)and the splendour of Exmoor just a short scenic drive.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Open plan living area with woodburner, TV with Freeview, DVD and iPod dock. Kitchen with gas range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Dining area.  Cloakroom with WC. First floor: Bedroom 1 with King and TV. Bedroom 2 with Double. Bedroom 3 with Twin. Bathroom with double ended claw foot bath, WC and basin. Shower room with corner shower, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Wi-Fi Broadband. No smoking. Regret no pets. Garden furniture. Highchair and travel cot. **Free parking for one car provided in Croyde Down End Beach Car Park (up until end February 2019)**. Private on site parking for two cars. Storage space in garage for cycles and surfboards. 3pm Arrival Time. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
