Approached by several steps through the front garden the entrance door opens directly into the charming living/ dining room with an impressive stone inglenook and comfy sofa. The country style kitchen is fitted in pine and to the rear of the cottage, with two steps up, is a separate utility room and spacious refurbished modern bathroom. Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms, carpeted for comfort and one having a sloping ceiling in parts. Tiered lawns and multi level wild gardens, may not suitable for small children, give ample space to relax and enjoy alfresco dining with the sound of the stream meandering by. A gentle stroll will take you down to a rocky beach with sandy areas, as shown in the website photograph. There are plenty of rockpools, good for prawning, and you will find the view along to Clovelly and out to Lundy Island quite spectacular. Just under a mile up the lane you will conveniently find the local Post Office and store. In an idyllic location, Emilys is sure to delight all visitors and is a welcoming home to return to after exploring all that this beautiful area has to offer.
