In a great location for enjoying spectacular views over Ilfracombe harbour, the coastline and across the Bristol channel towards the Welsh coast.  This delightful third floor apartment is furnished in a fresh contemporary style and offers everything you will need for a great break with family and friends.
Horizons is located in an elevated position in a Grade 11 listed Georgian terrace directly overlooking Ilfracombe harbour and the surrounding coast. The picturesque harbour with its famous 'Verity' statue, gallery shops and a wide choice of  restaurants, cafes and pubs are all just a short downhill walk through St James Park from the apartment. Exhilarating coastal walks, rocky coves and the unique Tunnels Beach are all within walking distance of the apartment which gives you a taste of the beautiful coastal scenery in this region and there is so much more to enjoy within a short drive including the magnificent surfing beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde and the splendour of the Exmoor National Park. This well appointed  and attractive apartment has a good sized open plan living/dining room offering comfortable seating and uninterrupted views of the harbour with fishing and pleasure boats coming and going in the eb and flo of the tide.  An adjoining high quality kitchen is well equipped for home dining. No matter what the season there are wonderful and ever changing seascapes and sunsets from the front windows including from the double bedroom.  A further twin bedroom is at the rear of the property.  Both bedrooms are served by a family shower room with large walk in shower.  Horizons provides a wonderful base for exploring this quite special area of North Devon.

Accommodation: Shared entrance with stairs to Third Floor. Open plan living/dining/kitchen with electric fire, TV with freeview and DVD, kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A washer/dryer is housed in a fitted cupboard in the hall. Bedroom 1 with King and wall mounted TV. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Shower room with large shower cubicle, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Wi-Fi Broadband. No smoking. Regret no pets.  No cot provided please bring your own travel cot. There are 39 steps up to the property.  1 dedicated parking space outside of property. Lower prices for 2 people staying - in low season, please enquire. Short breaks available (minimum 3 nights) from September to June.  Arr/dep for weekly bookings is Friday.




A very pleasant stay in a good location with plenty to see and do. Nice eateries to chose from. Also well located for exploring the local area.

Horizons is a great place to stay, the property is situated on the third floor so 3 flights of stairs ( 59 steps ) to climb, if you can manage the stairs then you will not be disappointed with the property, there is everything you could ask for in the apartment as well as fantastic views over the harbour. Ilfracombe is a nice place to visit with plenty of places to visit locally. The near by town of Barnstaple is worth a visit. Booking with Marsdens Devon Cottages was easy, I asked to change the dates of my booking because I had to have an operation, Marsdens were excellent in dealing with this and arranged a change of my booking with the owner. Excellent accommodation with everything you could ask for, real home from home.
