Lee is an attractive village situated between the busy Ilfracombe and the quieter Mortehoe. The village is surrounded by rolling Devonshire countryside on three flanks and the calm shores of the Bristol Channel on the other.
Positioned three miles east of the village, Ilfracombe provides all of the extra amenities for your self-catering stay. Additionally the town is packed with ‘things to do’, from seeing Damien Hirst’s ‘Verity’ to exploring Tunnels Beaches, an underground cove of four tunnels that lead you out to sea.
Back in the village, Lee, often referred to as Lee Bay, is home to the ever popular Grampus Inn. The pub serves excellent locally sourced produce at a reasonable price, and has a beautiful beer garden for those warm Devonshire evenings. While staying in the village you may also be lucky enough to experience some of the entertainment laid on by the Grampus Inn. Live music, quiz nights and games evenings are often hosted by the pub, making it the centre of village festivities.
