Entry
The Penthouse is situated Newcomen Road, is located next to Dartmouth's Lower Ferry. This property is close to all restaurants, shops and bars.
The communal corridor has 17 carpeted steps to access the property.
The entrance has a 76cm wide doorway, with a 3cm high step. There are 11 steps to entrance and it's lit by 5 downlights. At the end of this entrance, on the right hand side there is a door, which is 80cm wide, to access the patio, it has a table and 6 chairs. 
Shower room
The doorway is 76cm wide. There are 3 downlights and a window. There is a corner shower, a sink which is 40cm to floor. There is a toilet which is 80cm high. It's heated by a towel rail.
Leading from the corner of the entrance there are 4 stairs which are carpeted.
Bedroom 1
The doorway is 76 cm wide. It has a bunk bed. It's lit by 1 window and 4 downlights. There is a chest of drawers which is 90cm high. It has a TV on top which is 123cm to top.
There is a mirror and a radiator.
Bedroom 2 with shower room
The doorway is 76 cm wide. There is a double bed with a white headboard.
There is a bedside table with lamps which is 61cm high. This room is lit by 1 window and 5 downlights. It's heated by a radiator. There is a flat screen TV which is 90cm to top and 131cm to floor. Dartmouth’s narrow winding streets are packed with stylish shops, cafes and delis with some great places for breakfast or perhaps pick up some fish and chips and heading to the quay. Regular ferries chug across the river so it's easy to pop over to pretty Kingswear for a stroll, up to Coleton Fishacre or to Greenways, former home of Agatha Christie (both National Trust properties). The Penthouse has a sunny gravel courtyard garden with table and chairs, this is a great place to sit and relax.

 

Accommodation: open plan kitchen, dining and living area: range of brand new features - high gloss wall and base units, granite worktop surfaces, quality built-in appliances include electric induction hob, stainless steel oven with extractor fan above, built in washing machine, slim line dishwasher and full sized fridge freezer. Living area: 2 cream sofas, wall-unit with a large flat screen TV with a built in DVD player with DVD's suitable for all ages, coffee table and side table. IPod docking station. Dining area: modern black glass dining table with six black leather chairs. Bedrooms: master bedroom: (in the roof) views of Kingswear and the river. Kingsize bed, matching bedside tables with lamps, large double wardrobe, flat screen TV. Ensuite: (across the landing) bath, shower attachment, WC, hand basin. chrome towel rail. Bedroom 2: double bed, bedside table, lamp, chest of drawers, floor to ceiling wardrobe, wall mounted flat screen TV: ensuite, walk in shower,WC, hand basin and chrome towel rail. Bedroom 3: bunk beds, flat screen TV. Family Bathroom: first floor, large walk in shower with glass sliding doors, floor to ceiling chrome towel rail, WC, hand basin.

Parking:  Annual car parking permit is available for guests’ to use during their stay. This entitles you to park in Mayors Avenue car park and other car parks in the South Hams including, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Totnes.

 

Facilities and services: WiFi connection available. Sorry no pets. Bed linen and towels provided. (Beach towels not supplied.). Arr/Dep. For weekly bookings is Saturday. Short breaks available. 3 miles from the coast. 1.6 miles from the nearest pub. Garden/courtyard. 4 star rating. No children under 6 years of age

 

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Dartmouth is a beautiful, fun place to visit, best out of the high season I am sure. There are so many lovely and interesting places to visit by boat, steam train or by car and there is a good choice of restaurants and quaint pubs in Dartmouth. Can thoroughly recommend Alfrescos for the best breakfast ever with cheerful efficient service, and The Picnic Boat is great fun with delicious cream teas, (or other meals of your choice!)/. Lovely for a special occasion! We booked our accommodation through Blue River Cottages who were very helpful.
