A very pretty two bed first floor apartment in the centre of Dartmouth, overlooking the old market square. Think original sash windows and exposed whitewashed brickwork and you won’t be far off the mark. Get out and about, discover Dartmouth's fabulous galleries, stylish shops and cafes. Hop on a ferry to Kingswear. Visit Greenways, former home of Agatha Christie or Coleton Fishacre, both National Trust properties. Alternatively, stay in Dartmouth, pick up some of the best fish and chips around, sit on a bench at Bayards Cove and watch the comings and goings on the river.

As ever a gorgeous stay in Dartmouth! Two cottages due to an interesting issue which Blueriver helped us to resolve. Thank you! Lots to do and great to travel by boat or steam train to lots of interesting places. Both the cottages we stayed in were lovely- Halcyon and Melbourne- but beware if you are looking to use 3G in the Dartmouth area- prepare your expectations now for a technology detox! In every other way - perfect and we will be back again as soon as we can. Our 7 year old loved it too! Thank youSuzy and family, St.Albans - 26th July 2016
May I use this opportunity to tell you that we enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much and that we will be booking through your company again.Ross - 9th July 2015
A very relaxing Autumn break
Centrally located, walked everywhere, left the car in the Car Park !Kathy from Reading - 31st October 2014
My wife and I and our two children (20 x year old daughter and 16 x year old son) stayed in the Halcyon in Dartmouth in August 2014. The apartment was excellent, well decorated, very spacious and home from home with plenty of amenities e.g. wifi, freeview TV, dishwasher etc. It is centrally located and everything is within a short walking distance you really do not need a car. The parking permit is really handy, it saved us a fortune. A very enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend staying at the Halcyon. Excellent correspondence from Blue River Cottages throughout the whole process everything well explained and easy to follow.Andy from Reading - 23rd August 2014
