This little gem of a property has period features and a private footpath connecting it to the South West Coast Path through the garden store (it's like something out of a C.S Lewis novel). 

Monkswell Mews is a delightful Victorian Coastal retreat with two bedrooms offering excellent holiday accommodation for 4. A very comfortable and well furnished cottage with stripped wooden floors throughout and Victorian open fireplaces - so why not switch off the mobile, kick off your shoes and relax. The living room is lovely and bright with patio doors which open onto the furnished terrace, the views from here a beautiful and unspoilt across the palms and through the trees to the sea. The modern kitchen is very well equipped too, but if you don't fancy preparing dinner there are some good pubs, cafes and restaurants within easy reach.

Monkswell Mews sits in a quiet location in prestigious Meadfoot area of Torquay, away from the hustle and bustle of this popular tourist town. The property is pet friendly and accepts children 12 and over.

A really lovely and very popular holiday cottage so our advice is to book early!

 

Kitchen: Fully equipped with a gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Door to shower room with a cubicle shower and W.C.

Living/dining area: Two leather sofas, coffee table. Flat  screen TV and a fireplace.

Dining area: Wooden dining table with four chairs. Door onto large terrace gardens, with stunning sea views.

Bedrooms:

Master bedroom: Double bed with bedside tables and  bedside lamps. TV with basic Sky package. Door to access the garden.

Bedroom 2: Double bed with bedside table. Door to garden.

Bathroom: Roll top bath with shower over, WC and wash handbasin.

Outside: Large terrace and patio gardens. Private path to Southwest Coastpath.

 

Parking: Unrestricted parking on the quiet road at the side of the driveway. But there is space to stop and drop off your luggage.

 

Facilities and services: WiFi connection available. Bed linen and towels provided. (Beach towels not provided.) Enclosed garden. Partial sea views. Arr/Dep. For weekly bookings is Saturday. Short breaks available in low and mid season. No smoking. Pub 0.1 mile. Shop 0.5 miles. Coast 0.5 miles. Parking. Will accept 1 pet. Suitable for children 12 years and over.

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
