Description

Located in the historic market town of Kingsbridge lies the Victorian end of terrace property, Patchwork Cottage. Within a short walk from here is the head of the Salcombe-Kingsbridge estuary that run a ferry service during the summer season to the picturesque fishing village of Salcombe with its quaint shops and fishermans cottages. Within a 10 minute car ride are the sandy beaches of Thurlestone Sands, Hope Cove and Bigbury-on-Sea and are ideal for safe water sport activities. Kingsbridge boasts a small, charming cinema inside its original town hall, a leisure centre with swimming pool and numerous restaurants, pubs and boutique shops as well as a local butchers and greengrocers selling locally sourced produce. This dog friendly cottage has retained many of its original features and benefits from a wood burner for cosy evenings in. Accommodating four guests in two bedrooms, Patchwork Cottage has a walled terrace garden with decking area and over looks Duncombe Park, ideal for children to play and dogs to be walked. 

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, electric oven and gas hob range cooker, washing machine, dishwasher. Lounge: Smart TV with online TV services only such as BBC iPlayer and ITV hub, Blu Ray/DVD player, WiFi, Wood burner. First Floor: Family bathroom with bath and electric shower over, hand basin and WC: Master bedroom with super king (6'0'') bed wardrobe and chest of drawers, Bedroom 2 with two single (3'0") beds and hanging space. 

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels provided (bring your own beach towels). Gas central heating and electric included in the rent, please provide your own wood for the wood burner. WiFi provided. Garden and decking area with outdoor furniture provided. Sorry Car Park Permit is not provided. 3pm arrival time, 10am departure time. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
