Bring along all the family and make your Marsdens holiday perfect.
It's a well-known fact that dogs love a break: they relish the stimulation of walking and running in the countryside and the coast, but most of all they love to be with you!
Well over half of Mardens' cottages are dog-friendly, so you can bring the most important member of the family along too and still enjoy a relaxing break in Devon and Cornwall. There are more than 250 miles of dog-friendly coast path and nearly a 100 beaches that welcome dogs year-round in Cornwall alone, so it's little wonder that so many visitors are choosing to bring their hounds on holiday here.
We've listed some of the best things in Devon and Cornwall that you can do and see with your pet - dog-friendly pub walks, dog-friendly beaches, pubs and restaurants, pet-friendly attractions and places to visit - all of them close by a selection of Marsdens' cottages that welcome guests with pets. Just click on the map to find great things to do and to browse a selection of pet-friendly properties nearby.

Things to Do with your pet
"Almost a third of our visitors are dog-owners and many of them get great pleasure in bringing their dogs on holiday with them," says Malcolm Bell, head of Visit Cornwall. And why on earth wouldn't they, when there are beaches to bound along, miles of moorland, the Cornwall South West Coast Path in Cornwall and South West Coast Path in Devon and acres of woodland for waggy-tailed walks? We've even listed some places that you can wild-swim with your dog, as well as a host of pet-friendly events.
Top tips for pet holidays
It's not only the diverse landscape that beckons dogs to the South West - cafés and pubs and tourist attractions are opening their doors to our four-legged friends too. From the Eden Project to National Trust gardens, chic beach cafés and cosy country pubs, dogs are being welcomed. Having dog-friendly establishments is essential to enjoying holidays with dogs in tow, and in Devon and Cornwall you can rest assured that the whole family is well catered for whether you're out walking, eating and drinking, or sightseeing.
