Local knowledge

Working from our offices in Braunton in North Devon, our staff live locally and many have been with us for a number of years – their knowledge of the area and insight into the South West holiday cottage market, across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset is one of our unique selling points.

Most importantly we are passionate about our portfolio of properties across the South West – with over 300 cottages Marsdens offers choice and quality when it comes to self-catering breaks in Devon, Cornwall and beyond.

That quality is ensured by our commitment to nationally recognised and trusted schemes – every one of our cottages in Devon and Cornwall are graded shortly after recruitment by our own VisitEngland Assessor and then annually inspected to ensure that it continues to meet the high standards our holidaymakers expect.

Marsdens have always been proud of our record for great customer service. Every holiday maker receives a simple questionnaire after their stay, asking for feedback and giving us the opportunity to learn their likes and dislikes.
