Located a quarter-mile behind the long stretch of golden sands of Westwood Ho! Beach, this stylish dog-friendly detached house offers the perfect escape for beach lovers. Amazing ocean views greet you from many of the rooms, with stunning vistas across Northam Burrows and out to Westwood Ho!’s famous pebble ridge. A glass conservatory looking over an enclosed patio is the ideal place to unwind with a drink in hand or get stuck into a game of table football, watching as the evening sunset fades into the sea beyond.

The interior of the property clearly reflects its environment with tones of both countryside and ocean running throughout. While an open-plan living area and cosy second lounge with exposed stone feature fireplace give a warm and homely feel, the pretty bedrooms provide a calm retreat with their subtle colours and breathtaking views. For guests with limited mobility, there is a handy twin bedroom and WC on the ground floor.

Without a doubt, the highlight of this area is the huge expanse of sand, perfect for everything from surfing to sunbathing. The beach offers amazing walks when the tide is out, and the South West Coast Path is accessible from most points along the beach as well as from Northam Burrows Country Park, just behind the house. Surf and kitesurf schools abound, and the village also has a lovely green on which to enjoy some fish and chips or an ice cream from one of the traditional seaside shops. The pretty harbour ports of Bideford and Appledore (less than 3 miles away) also make an excellent afternoon out.

Lovely place for 9 of us. 3 generations. Short walk to the beach. Great place right in front of the house for ball games. Rooms are well equipped, and comfortable. Its a great place, we hope to go back.

This is the second time we have stayed at Codaro and it lived up to expectations. We love everything about it and will be back. It is a gorgeous property in an excellent location. The small details really made our break away special and were trolly appreciated.

A great option for our family of grandparents, parents and children aged 7 - 12 years old. Perfect short walk to the beach, food and bars. Big field outside to play ball games, where sheep and horses graze in early morning and nighttime. Plenty of seating for all, both inside and out. Great location with good parking for 4 cars and easy access to shops and beach. Poor WiFi let's the property down but overall easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants.
