A great location to explore Dartmoor and east Cornwall. Lovely cosy cottage, very well equipped and seems remote yet not far from the main road.

Absolutely perfect for us, my wife is disabled and so everything being on one level including the shower was just great. The location was so lovely, quiet and away from the main road. One of the most important things for us ,as I am sure most people, is the bed which was absolutely fantastic so comfortable, I havent slept that well for years! The cRead moreottage was very well equipped with everything that we needed. We had a lovely time just relaxing and we would love to stay there again. Many thanks. Hide

A beautiful barn conversion with a well thought out space. Very quiet, other than the odd tractor. You will definitely need a car to access shops etc. Very welcoming hosts.

The Old Forge is excellent for two people, neither too big nor too small. The furnishings are comfortable, clean and of good quality. The bed, for us, was comfortable and very restful. The bathroom had plenty of room and the electric shower was very good. The kitchen had a good range of equipment and lots of crockery and cutlery. Plenty of dishwashRead moreer tablets. Good range of garden furniture, particularly the 'onion' which is great to lounge in and is very sheltered. The owner is very helpful Hide

Spring in Devon is always lovely, but I cant think of a better place to stay than The Old Forge! Set on a working farm, you are surrounded by lambs and calves in the fields with their mothers. The cottage is comfortable with splendid views. A great holiday!

Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Very quiet location if you dont mind the cows! Quite a narrow access from the main road with a few potholes, but ok after you have learnt where they are. Would definitely choose this property again.
