There are plenty of beautiful, scenic walks in this corner of Devon. Not least of all, the South West Coast Path (1 mile) which offers stunning scenery: dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, secluded coves and beaches. You could follow this path along to Westward Ho! (4 miles) which offers two miles of golden sandy beach as well as a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops. Other attractions easily reached from here include Clovelly (8 miles), a unique cliffside fishing village with cobbled streets and a pretty harbour, the picturesque village of Appledore (7 miles) and the port town of Bideford (5 miles), where you can catch the Oldenburg passenger ferry to the unique nature reserve of Lundy Island.
