Situated on the outskirts of one of the most picturesque coastal towns in South Devon, this lavish apartment provides a wonderfully romantic retreat or a welcome respite from life's everyday hustle and bustle, as well as being a great base to explore all that the county has to offer. Whether in the lounge or on the terrace, the views are certainly worth writing home about.
Step into the apartment which is adjacent to the owner’s property and enjoy meals in the lounge/diner, made even more pleasurable by the waterside panoramas through the picture windows. With the dining table set for two, you can watch the sun set across the estuary as you enjoy supper. Take a step outside onto the terrace and enjoy the vistas with your coffee. An inviting, comfortable sofa is just right for curling up with a favourite book, watching TV or a movie, and at the end of the day, there is a plush, sumptuous king-size bed in a softly lit peaceful bedroom.
Teignmouth, just half a mile away, is a wonderful resort for all ages, boasting a host of pubs, restaurants, an historic pier, local shops and a farmer’s market. It is set on the mouth of the estuary across from the fishing village of Shaldon (1 mile), accessible by a 5-minute ferry ride. Teignmouth has two beaches: the main promenade beach with its famous pier, which is half a mile long and perfect for families of all ages, and a smaller beach which is a little sparser and quieter. To the west, the English Riviera beckons: Torquay (9 miles) and Paignton (14 miles) are major holiday resorts offering a vast number of attractions, superb restaurants, pubs, shops and immaculate beaches.
