Brixham is the perfect place for a romantic retreat on the south coast. And with its spectacular harbour and sea views, this cosy two-storey period property makes the most of its stunning setting. Here you’ll embrace a slower pace of life, surrounded by secluded beaches, as well as the popular harbour.

With original features retained throughout, you’ll feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Modern touches are evident too, from the first floor en-suite to the additional bathroom furnished with a relaxing roll-top bath. In cooler months, curl up in front of the coal effect fire with a good book or your favourite TV show. But the house’s real gem is its high-level decked terrace, which boasts far-reaching views over town and sea - an idyllic spot to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets.

Sample the deliciously fresh local seafood in one of Brixham’s many local pubs and restaurants, perhaps after a day exploring the coastal paths which lead out of town, beyond the beaches at St Mary’s Bay (2 miles) and Fishcombe Cove (1 mile). The harbour itself is a fascinating place for a stroll; here you’ll see fishing boats, pleasure craft, and ferries which run around the bay to Torquay (11 miles by car).

  • The property is accessed via a single flight of steep steps from the road
  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.
  • Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars.
  • Dogs are allowed on the Breakwater beach from 1st October to 31st March. The nearest green area for dogs is Churchill gardens approx. 300metres along Berry Head Road towards the Marina car park.
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £20. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
