Perfectly situated just a short drive from the coast and amidst beautiful woodland with an abundance of wildlife, this lovely lodge provides a great base from which to explore North Devon and Cornwall.
Immerse yourselves in natural Devon when you stay at this delightful, single-storey holiday lodge on the edge of Woolsery. Also known as Woolfardisworthy, the village is approximately 3.5 miles from Clovelly, which is set in the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast area and famous for its steep hillside setting and donkeys that carry goods up and down its slopes. Sleeping six people and also welcoming two dogs, the spacious, three-bedroom cabin is surrounded by woodland and comes with its own hot tub in which you can relax as you look out for wildlife or gaze up at the stars.
Step inside the inviting abode and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Gather in here to watch a film on the Smart TV or play games together. On fine days, pull open the door on to the terrace so everyone can spill outside. Take turns at cooking tasty meals for your party then dine together at the table inside or out. Enjoy a long soak in the family bathroom after exhilarating days out, then head off to either the king-size bedroom, which has its own balcony and en-suite shower room, with washer/dryer, or either of the two twins. Dine outside as often as possible; sizzle supper on the BBQ on occasion and enjoy the peace and the privacy. Unwind in your personal hot tub as often as you choose. Find parking for two cars comes with the cabin.
Go to the beach at Clovelly or head 11 miles to Westward Ho! where you can swim, surf and paddleboard from the long sandy beach. Pick up the South West Coast Path at Clovelly and hike 10 miles to Hartland Quay through ancient woodland and past waterfalls. Take the children to the Milky Way Adventure Park, less than 2 miles from the lodge.
