Stay at this appealing cottage in Northam, approximately 1.5 miles from Bideford, and enjoy the best of everything Devon has to offer. Up to three guests and one dog are welcome to stay at the colourful, two-bedroom property, which is just over 1 mile from the magnificent, sandy beach at Westward Ho! Stroll through the famous Northam Burrows Country Park from your base too or walk into Bideford, with its independent shops, market stalls and eateries. Return home to relax in the courtyard.
Wander into this inviting property and find yourselves in the welcoming, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Plan your evening’s viewing on the Smart TV, then make your way over to the kitchen area to whip up something delicious for dinner. Dine together at the table as you discuss your plans for the following day here in Devon. After dinner have a hot shower or long bubble bath in the bathroom, also at this level, before heading upstairs to either the double bedroom, which has its own TV with an Amazon Fire Stick, or the comfortable bunk room. Wake up to enjoy coffee and breakfast out in the yard on warm mornings. Find parking in car parks within 100m of the cottage. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Stroll 1.5 miles from the house into Appledore, with its shops and cafes. In the high season, take the ferry from here over to Instow, where you can paddle, picnic and play on the sand. Saunton Sands, about 15 miles away, is another lovely beach that makes a great day out. Keen walkers might like to attempt a stretch of the South West Coast Path, less than 1.5 miles from the cottage.
