Perfect for discovering Ilfracombe, this stylishly updated Victorian house makes a fabulous holiday home for up to 12 guests. Providing elegant accommodation for larger families and groups of friends, the house is a fantastic base for exploring the stunning beaches, rugged cliffs and quaint villages of North Devon. The property has been tastefully furnished in bright, fresh tones, enjoys an elevated position and offers fantastic views over the town, towards the harbour and out to sea.

This property features a cheerful lounge with high ceilings, a beautiful bay window, Smart TV and games console, providing a great space to unwind in. The beautifully furnished kitchen/diner offers plenty of space for everyone to get together to prepare and share a special celebratory meal. There’s also a light-filled reading room and a glamorous cocktail bar area with barstools and drinks display cabinet. The first floor has a bathroom and three bedrooms: a twin room with sea views, a king-size room with a bay window, and a king-size room featuring an en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath. The second floor has another bathroom and three further bedrooms: a cosy twin, a light double and a dual-aspect triple room. Outside, there’s a charming lawn with garden furniture and sea views to the rear of the house, and there’s also a lovely, enclosed patio to the front with a small lawn which makes a delightful children’s play area.

Ilfracombe has plenty of great pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as several stunning beaches including Tunnels Beaches, Rapparee Cove and Wildersmouth Beach. You can take a boat trip from the harbour which is home to Damien Hirst’s Verity. Exmoor National Park is immediately to the east, with local attractions including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo (both within 13 miles).

  • 4 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £55. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Great property for a large group, we were 3 families of 4. Some lovely sea views from some bedrooms, kitchen/diner and rear garden (which caught evening sun) Great location to explore local beaches e.g Woolacombe, Croyde The drive is steep, so some of us parked on the road. (Area is a little hilly, so not ideal for people with mobility issues) A puRead moreb The Thatched Inn is a very short walk and we had a nice meal there. Also walked to town and to the harbour, and along the coast path. Enjoyed! Hide

Lovely house, great location, well furnished / "kitted out", driveway is a bit slippy when the leaves are on the ground and could do with some steps set in the drive. The main bedroom at the front on the second floor needs a screen between the bedroom and the bathroom to allow privacy but otherwise all great - we would definitely return

Excellent venue for a large group. Games available as well as electronic games consoles. The house was very comfortable and clean with all the facilities you would need. It is in a hilly location so older people may struggle but we managed.
