The single-storey property is accessed via ten steps that lead you to a private, decked terrace into the open-plan living area. It’s a welcoming space comprising of a lounge, kitchen and diner. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating arranged around the Smart TV with DVD and the kitchen is well equipped with the layout meaning that the chef always has company. The property’s two bedrooms are off the living space. One is a double, the second is a twin. Both can share the family bathroom with shower. Outside, the enclosed, decked space with seating is a great place to enjoy better weather and enjoy a meal alfresco and there is also a shared BBQ area. Keen anglers can fish at the lake, while kids can make use of the children’s play area. In the summer, the swimming pool opens for guests to use.
Being based in mid Devon, you’ll be close to Dartmoor, just 15 miles away, as well as a number of stunning Cornish and Devon beaches. Bude, for example, is around 18 miles away and a great place to head thanks to its wide array of leisure facilities and eateries. It’s got an expansive beach which also features a tidal pool and there are a range of water sports you can indulge in. A little further on, Clovelly is a pretty harbour village with a museum, a pretty, cobbled street and fantastic views.
