With breathtaking views over the town of Brixham, this terraced cottage enjoys a central yet quiet location. The harbour, cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops are all within 250 metres, and beaches in under a mile.

Escape to the English Riviera with friends and family in this beautiful cottage for four. Brixham is a bustling fishing town with a pretty harbour, cobbled streets, and colourful houses. Wander out of your front door to explore its plethora of independent shops and fantastic eateries, followed by a stroll along one of the nearby beaches or coast paths. And in the evenings, you can sip sundowners on your own private terrace overlooking the town.

A flight of steps leads from the harbour to the cottage. Arranged over four floors, you’ll find a cosy cottage full of traditional features and boasting fantastic views. Enter into the kitchen/diner, where you can whip up delicious meals with local produce to enjoy together around the dining table. Cottage-style stairs lead to the adorable lounge, with its beamed ceiling and comfortable seating arranged around a wood burner-effect electric fire. Another flight of stairs leads to the twin bedroom and bathroom and on the top floor, you’ll find the king-size bedroom, which has a cute seating area for enjoying the views across the town and out to sea. A door leads from the lounge to a small, private terrace – the perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day.

You’ll find so much to see and do in beautiful Brixham. Be sure to take a moment to investigate the Golden Hind in the harbour – this full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship is one of the town’s most popular attractions. If you fancy a dip in the sea, head down to Shoalstone Beach for a swim in the tidal pool. The town is also a great place for trying a whole host of water sports, and you’ll find many companies offering everything from paddleboarding to jet skiing.

Nice cottage but like other people had commented lots of steps and quite hard to find house. I suppose it didnt help that there was scaffolding outside just down the step. Would have been nice to have a small welcome pack like tea, milk ect as we had driven 5 hrs and would have enjoyed a cuppa after our long journey. Good location but little things let the cottage down. We were asked to strip the bedding before we left to give the cleaner more time for the turn around. Im sorry to say we didnt think the cottage was clean enough when we arrived. We had to wash the cutlery and doors were dirty.

We loved this property, so close to the harbour, the views from the top floor bedroom fantastic. Very good value for money considering the location. It really was home from home, with nothing to bring, everything provided. We had to cut our holiday short regretfully, but would definitely book again. Thank you for a lovely stay Paul & Gail Rimmer

Loved this cottage, so quaint, very well equipped. Steps up to the cottage and stairs inside were a challenge but we are in our 70s and managed ok. Worth it for the gorgeous view over the harbour.

To add to it if you have mobility issue please do not book. The view from the main bedroom is the main thing going for it. And if you don't sleep well be prepared to hear the segalls all night. I know it's a seaside and segalls come with the tertiary. But got god they do your head in. Regards

Great location and we had a lovely stay. A traditional fisherman's cottage which felt a bit like being in a lighthouse with only one floor having more than one room. People with mobility issues or very large people might struggle with the layout as the stairs are very narrow, twisty and low in places. Four floors so lots of ups and downs!
