Very easy to use and good communication.

Marsdens Devon Cottages offer over a huge selection of holiday cottages across Devon, so whether you’d like a stylish apartment in Croyde, a rural retreat in Exmoor National Park, a characterful cottage in Dartmouth or a townhouse in Ilfracombe for a weekend break, we have it all. We have been offering high-quality holiday cottages in Devon and beyond since 1973.  With 45-years of experience, we know how to hand-pick the very best cottages to rent in Devon so you can be sure of the perfect Devon holiday.  At Marsdens Devon Cottages we pride ourselves not only on the quality of our cottages in Devon but also on the high-standard of service we provide.

So where will you book your next Devon holiday cottage?  We no longer just offer North Devon cottages – you can now choose anywhere from Lynton and Lynmouth in North Devon to holiday cottages in South Devon locations such as Dartmoor, Torbay and South Devon.  We have lots of holiday cottages and apartments with sea views and easy access to the beach in top destinations such as Woolacombe and Putsborough.  We have everything from a small holiday let ideal for couples to luxury holiday cottages in Kingsbridge and large farm cottages which can accommodate a bigger family – or several families sharing, if you prefer.

We are pleased to offer lots of dog-friendly self-catering accommodation in great locations – near fabulous countryside walks, cottages on the South West Coast path, and close to dog-friendly beaches.  We want your four-legged friend to enjoy their holiday in Devon too – so much so that with your help, we have created this interactive dog-friendly map so you can see the best places to walk your dog in Devon.

Many of our holiday lets in Devon have great facilities – you’ll find holidays homes with a hot tub, swimming pool, or open fire or wood burner for those cosy winter holidays in Devon.  Other holiday rentals are close to the things you appreciate most – near the coast, close to a pub, or with views of the Devon countryside or a sea view.

If you really want to get away from it all, you’ll also find we offer cosy holiday homes in the Devon countryside. These rural retreats often offer great value for a cottage holiday, or even a short break.

For those of you who like to book your holidays in Devon in the autumn, winter or spring, or many other times outside the school holidays, you’ll find you can get away for much less than you might think.  Many of our holiday cottages in Devon also offer short breaks outside of peak weeks, so if you’d like a holiday cottage for a weekend or a few days, many of our Devon holiday homes will suit you.

We also have some unique self-catering Devon properties which are unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else.  We have a converted chapel in Kingsbridge, idyllic wooden lodges on Exmoor, and numerous converted stables, granaries and barn conversions to rent all over Devon.Despite our name, we also offer some beautiful holiday cottages in North Somerset too – just have a look under “Exmoor Cottages”.

You’ll find that many of our holiday homes in Devon have been assessed by a specially trained member of our team as part of the Original Cottages Quality Scheme.  They are then awarded a star grading so you can see the standard they have achieved, and can be confident of their quality when booking.

The incredible beauty and variety of the county draws many people to our holiday cottages in Devon year after year.  Take time to browse our website and if we can be of further help in finding you the perfect Devon cottage holiday, please do give us a call – our friendly and knowledgeable team at Marsdens Devon Cottages will be happy to help you.

"Booking was very easy with prompt confirmation. The website accurately reflected the cottage which was superb. We will definitely visit the Marsdens site again when looking for cottages in Devon... great cottage in a peaceful location."

Mr E - Ashtree Cottage, Muddiford.

"Marsdens was very helpful with our booking, details were emailed very quickly to allow us to plan our journey. We have stayed in numerous cottages but none have compared to Cedars Lodge... this cottage is highly recommended."

Mr L - Cedars Lodge, Northam.

"The property and service were excellent! After using Marsdens since 1999 we would always come back. After staying at properties in Berrynarbor, Lee Bay, Woolacombe and Mortehoe we have found The Anchorage at Putsborough to be the best so far."

Mr P - The Anchorage, Putsborough.
