Visit Compton Castle's Edible Garden

There’s a great opportunity for a low-cost day out whilst on holidaying in a Devon cottage, Compton Castle’s Edible Garden Tour in Paignton is an excellent choice. You don’t have to pay anything other than the normal castle entrance fee and there are things that your whole family will be interested in.
Look around with one of the green-fingered gardeners to find out what you can grow and eat in your own garden at home. You can even see the secret vegetable patch, where food is produced for the Castle. You’ll even get the chance to ask any questions you have about your plants at home to the expert gardeners who work at Compton.
Tickets are £5 for Adults, £2.50 for children. Opening hours are: Tuesday – Thursday 10.30-5pm, Closed Friday to Monday. Free Parking available to all visitors. Food and drinks are available at Castle Barton restaurant
