Lets Go Walking

Rose Cottage, Blackberry Cottage, Clover Cottage and Honeysuckle Cottage are four beautifully presented barn conversions situated on Tregolls Farm, just 4 miles from the delightful small town of Wadebridge. With a host of other special Cornish beaches, harbours, villages and attractions to visit close by, basing yourself here offers lots of relaxation options. Though you may just want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside, or curl up in front of the log burner with a good book.

If we can tempt you to venture out of doors, then Autumn is a great time to explore Cornwall on foot. Close to Wadebridge and starting at Rock car park is the picturesque Sir John Betjeman walk. This stroll gently takes you along the eastern bank of the River Camel with its sandy beaches adjacent, and passes the evocative St Enodoc Church, Sir John's final resting place.

Another great coastal walk nearby begins at Lundy Bay near Polzeath. The National Trust are promoting walking in Cornwall too, and there are loads of further walks listed on their site for you to take advantage of. A good walk always produces a good appetite and one thing is for sure today in Cornwall, you can sample excellent local foods and ales just about everywhere in the County. We mention just a few of these welcoming Inns, Cafes and Restaurants on our  pages, just scroll the page to find an excellent place to rest a while.
