Guests also have access to a neighbouring field, a fun area for children to make some wonderful holiday memories.
An enchanting mix of traditional and contemporary fills this lovely cottage. Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams (sloped in some places), low windows and feature stable doors are brought into the 21st century with modern soft furnishings and a bright friendly kitchen. Take a coffee out to the wooden balcony on the first floor where you can drink in the views of the long drive and woodland, beautiful in any season. At night, sink into the comfortable beds in the traditional bedrooms, one of which is handily on the ground floor along with a shower room, ideal for those with limited mobility.
For a friendly village pub and shop, head 2 miles into Chittlehampton, or if you need a better selection, drive the 5 miles into Barnstaple. There are glorious walks to be discovered both in Exmoor National Park, 10 miles from the cottage as well as the South West Coast Path, accessible from Westwood Ho! 20 miles away. This traditional seaside resort not only has a wonderful sandy beach but also fantastic fish and chip restaurants and a seaside sweet shop where you can buy candy floss and sticks of rock to take home.
