Situated on the River Torridge in the historic market town of Bideford, Riverside Court offers its guests a stunning waterfront location with beautiful views of the river from its lounge/diner and private patio garden – so why not enjoy leisurely al fresco lunches as the boats bob past? A short stroll will lead you to the array of shops, pubs and restaurants that Bideford has to offer amongst its cobbled streets, or venture further afield to explore North Devon’s natural beauty including its sandy beaches and stunning coastline.

Riverside Court offers clean and comfortable 2-bedroom accommodation to suit families and couples. A highlight is the enclosed garden patio, ideal for alfresco dining - the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring. The ground floor boasts a convenient cloakroom and WC, a modest, well-equipped kitchen and a lounge/diner also with river views. The first floor has a double bedroom, again with river views, a comfortably snug twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The decor is fresh and bright, with cheerful pops of colour throughout.

Westward Ho! (3 miles) has a golden, sandy beach and the seaside town offers lots of places to eat, drink and have fun. Here, you can walk along the South West Coast Path and discover the hidden coves and cliffs of the dramatic North Devon coastline. Appledore, a quaint fishing village with narrow streets, is only 3 miles away and in summer you can catch a ferry across to the small, but charming, beach and village of Instow. Families will also love attractions such as The BIG Sheep and The Milky Way, within 10 miles of Riverside Court.

The owner should be proud of what they offer at this property. Everything is clearly labelled with detailed instructions making your stay a breeze. All the little extras they included really made it feel like a home from home. I'd definitely consider returning without hesitation if we wanted to stay in that area again.

A Iovely comfortable property with everything we needed for our stay, even our dog Max was well provided for with treats, dog bowls, towel and a portable dog cleaning unit. Added bonus of a generous parking bay. Straight out the back gate and you are on the South West coastal path, from here it's an easy walk into the centre of Bideford which has rRead moreetained a wonderful selection of local shops. The accommodation had everything we needed and a lovely view too! Very well equipped; Netflix and Alexa were a bonus as well as a welcome treat pack on arrival. The house was clean and in a perfect location to go for walks or visit other places. The view was also wonderful. The house had everything we needed, even a washing machine. We would definitely go back.

The cottage is in a lovely location and contained everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It's lovely to be able to walk into town, and the beautiful beach is only a short car ride away, along with many other places of interest.

I always take spare toilet and kitchen roll with me. Would suggest extra black bin liners, waste liners and kitchen foil be left, as these are items people would not normally take with them. I now know for future reference.

Cottage was very clean and well equipped. The position right on the estuary walkway is ideal with views from the lounge, garden or bedroom is wonderful when the tide is in. The doggie bowls, towels , shower and throw were a nice surprise, as were the doggies treats. Netflix subscription was an added bonus . The propert is in an excellent location to explore the North Devon coast and the Bude and Boscastle area of Cornwall. Backing right on to the River Torridge, there are excellent scenic views and the coastal path for walking. The cottage was clean, well equipped, excellent facilities and warm and cosy. Nice location next to the river, in a quiet location, but only 5 minutes walk from the Center of Biddeford. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break. Dogs are welcomed and have their own facilities provided for them. Will definitely return for another stay.

My second time at this lovely cottage in the perfect spot if you just want to chill and enjoy the lovely river views or as a base to explore all North Devon has to offer. This cottage was in a great location right on the South West Coast Path and just a short level stroll from Bideford Town. The cottage was warm and comfortable for two adults and one young dog and the owners supplied dog bowls and treats. We had everything we needed and the coffee, tea, biscuits and milk was a nice welcome. Booked on the spur of the moment and all we wanted was somewhere within walking distance of town and some nice walks for us and the dog. River view ticked all these boxes and more, there was milk in the fridge, treats and dishes for the dog and every thing had instruction labels on, the cottage was very clean and tidy we were also given contact detRead moreails in case we encountered any problems but didnt need to use them. Lovely house. Great location with parking outside the door. Lots instructions on how to use appliances and beautiful views at the back with access straight on to coast path. Tarka trail a must walk. Get bus to Appledore then ferry to Instow(check tide times as ferry only runs at high tide), then walk back into Bideford. Westward Ho has lovely coastRead moreal walk too. Absolutely loved our stay here. Everything needed was there. Didnt use the cooker as I dont cook on holiday. The view is amazing. Easy walk into Biddeford and a lovely park even closer. Ideal to travel to some lovely spots in Devon. Even had a nespresso machine so didnt have to go without my Starbucks in the mornings. Highly recommend.

Great little cottage with everything you could need for a holiday. Lovely views across the river and walking distance to town and to a field to run our dog. We visited many places in North Devon and particularly enjoyed Appledore (very local), Ilfracombe, Lynmouth and Exmoor. The Beaver Inn in Appledore is highly recommended for dinner, beers and fRead moreor beautiful views. Also the Puffin Billy in Great Torrington was a very quaint cafe. Lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Perfect situation to just sit and relax by the river. Many attractions within a reasonable drive and supermarkets within walking distance as is the Tarka Trail. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return.
