The Winter Folley was amazing. It had everything needed for a family stay. Mrs Winter was amazing with suggestions for activities and where to go. Very hospitable and would love to go back. Location wise ideal if you want a complete break from techno-world. Great view of the sheep and other wildlife in the morning or evening.

Amazing location! This was just minutes from Westward Ho! Beach which was a fantastic beach with sand and rock pools. The property was very clean. There was a games room which our kids loved. We had a wonderful stay at the Winter Folly. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It's in a quiet location with lots of outside space and a short walk to the coast. The games room was great when the weather wasn't. Thanks for an amazing holiday!

A quiet and quirky holiday location, with direct access to the Southwest Coastal Path. The lack of Wi-Fi was fine by us, but those who see this as an essential should look elsewhere!

Very good value for money. The accommodation is excellent, a converted and refurbished stable which had a cosy atmosphere. Excellent sea view from the shared garden area. Location is great, a few minutes from the Coast Path, and plenty of interesting places nearby to visit - eg Westward Ho, Clovelly, Tapley Park. We would recommend the cottage.

The Winter Folly was lovely with some stunning views! Mrs Winter was really friendly and welcoming. The cottage was well equipped. The TARDIS was a hit with us all. Only wish we could travel back to the beginning of our holiday again!

The cottage is in a really lovely setting, was larger than expected, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Very quirky and cute. Easy access and parking. Lovely area for sitting in the sun (which we had little of but plenty of wind!). Other areas are for visitors to use too. Lots of walking nearby. Great views from the North Devon Coastal path. 'ReRead moresident' pheasant kept us entertained for ages. A lovely week only spoiled by the weather. Hide
