Set against a backdrop of peaceful woodland and countryside, this attractive detached residence is ideal for large groups. This property was once two semi-detached cottages which have been converted into an impressive country dwelling that boasts space, character-features and an excellent location. Secluded and tranquil, yet only 10 miles from the North Cornwall coast, it offers a homely base for adventures with family and friends.

With two lounges, six bedrooms and three bathrooms, this is a space perfect for large families or groups of friends. Period features such as the wooden staircase, two wood-burner stoves and exposed-stone fireplaces blend elegantly with contemporary furnishings and country-themed artwork. Children can enjoy the freedom of playing in the enclosed garden, and they’ll love the TV/DVD and PlayStation available in the property. On the ground floor are a comfortable single and double room, and upstairs are three more doubles and a single. For flexibility, two of the double rooms in the property can be made up as twins on request. A large kitchen/dining area completes the community feel of the property with a long, wooden dining table suitable for up to 12 people.

10 miles away is the Dragon Archery Centre in Holsworthy, a unique day out to try something new. 11 miles west of the cottage guests can take a calming canoe journey along the Bude Canal or go surfing on one of Bude’s beautiful beaches. Besides water sports, there are numerous breathtaking walking routes along the South West Coast Path and inland through the countryside. Pay a visit to Boscastle (20 miles), a charming little village set around a sheltered natural inlet.

  • 6 bedrooms: 2 double, 2 with zip-and-link beds (which can be made up as doubles or twins) and 2 singles
  • 2 additional pull out single beds can be provided on request

Tinney house is lovely. Set in a quiet farm location with a secure garden and plenty of space for children and adults to be together or apart. We especially appreciated the 2 lounges and the really well equipped kitchen. We self-catered all week and were hugely impressed with everything the kitchen had. Absolutely wonderful! Tinney House was a great size for our group of two families & 4 dogs, lots of downstairs space to spread out. Thoughtful welcome treats (biscuits, fizz, milk, plus tea & coffee). Beautifully clean everywhere, spacious bathrooms upstairs and a more compact shower/toilet downstairs. Plenty of seating in the separate lounges plus woodburners with amplRead moree fuel. Comfy beds and so quiet - a real treat just to hear birdsong and no road noise. Good location for trips to nearby beaches and further afield. Hide
