There’s a sand-pit for children and guests are also welcome - by arrangement with the owners - to visit the working farm and meet the animals, including pedigree South Devon cattle and rare Whiteface Dartmoor sheep. Lambing and calving take place from February to May so there could be new arrivals to meet.
