we had a great week in Alta Vista. The house has everything you need for a week's holiday and more. The view from the sofa in the living room is magnificent, and we immediately felt at home. Extremely well equipped. Lovely views. Five minute walk to John's Deli for milk and papers. Plus the best croissants we have ever eaten in 30 years of touring France. Availability of up to 2 parking spaces is a great advantage.

A lovely cottage, very homely and well placed. The parking space is a boon. Short walk into town (uphill on way back!) Johns deli is great and the one in Instow does a lovely breakfast. The Beaver pub is also good and has outdoor seating with a view of the estuary. Sylvester's does great fish and chips and is next to a fabulous chocolate shop.
