Extremely well equipped. Lovely views. Five minute walk to John's Deli for milk and papers. Plus the best croissants we have ever eaten in 30 years of touring France. Availability of up to 2 parking spaces is a great advantage.

Lovely cottage apart from the issues as mentioned above. Location excellent (glad it had its own car park space as very congested). Living area open plan ideal for family of 5. Kitchen quite large and well fitted with everything you needed. Back bedroom ideal size with lovely views. 2nd bedroom with bunk bed adequate size and ok for young children.Read more All amenities very close by. A lovely cottage, very homely and well placed. The parking space is a boon. Short walk into town (uphill on way back!) Johns deli is great and the one in Instow does a lovely breakfast. The Beaver pub is also good and has outdoor seating with a view of the estuary. Sylvester's does great fish and chips and is next to a fabulous chocolate shop. Great cottage split over three levels. Bathrooms quite adequate with good water pressure on both showers. Private parking space available right next to the cottage. Short walk into Appledore, where the kids enjoyed crabbing on an evening. Good food nearby and plenty to do locally - no need to spend a fortune for a great day out.

A really lovely cottage in a great location, just a short walk from Appledore. The cottage is comfy and well equipped and provided a great place for us and our children to stay during our week away. Ruth, the owner is also incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed prior to our stay.
