Overall a great location, well presented accommodation, and friendly management. Good stock of silver fish, but carp proved elusive. Lodges would benefit from adjoining bait/tackle storage per lodge.

The cottage we stayed in no 5 is small but perfectly adequate, in fact it made it very cosy of an evening, there wasnt anything I needed that wasnt provided. The bed was super comfortable with plenty of extra bedding if needed. The bathroom is small but that is because it has a massive shower cubicle that fits 2 people . There isnt a washing machinRead moree in this cottage but there is a laundry cabin right next door with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Hide

An unexpected treasure of a place, the whole area was well maintained and ideal to relax and enjoy the surroundings, I understand the fishing is excellent. If you do not fish the sights and sounds of the wildlife including kingfishers, swans, are calming. Very dog friendly plenty of areas to walk and exercise them safely. Clare and the team were moRead morere than welcoming along with percy. Felt very secure in the lodge but not too far from the local pub and shop. A massive thank you to everyone. Hide
