With spectacular views of the North Devon countryside and just 1.5 miles from Westward Ho! beach, this cosy, bright log cabin offers both coast and country rolled into one. This lodge-style property offers a private hot tub, wood burner, and patio BBQ so that guests can enjoy their stay in comfort and tranquillity. With access to Lundy, beaches and countryside and just 10 miles from the market town of Barnstaple, you’ll be spoiled for choice at this quirky retreat.

Although the property feels snug and cosy (thanks to the contemporary wood burner), it is in no way cramped as light is allowed to flow through the lounge/kitchen/dining area through the large French doors that open out onto the deck. The stylish grey and silver tones are brought to life by colourful artwork and details throughout the property. The two bedrooms are comfortable, with a fresh style and wooden backboards that bring character and vibrancy - the shared shower room continues this theme and adds to the bespoke feel of the property.

Just 3 miles from the cabin is North Burrows Country Park. At the western edge of the Taw Torridge Estuary, this grassy coastal plain offers unrivalled views and a truly authentic biosphere that’s open to guests all year round. Once you’ve lapped up enough of the countryside and coast, take a drive into Bideford just 3 miles from the property, and wander the local shops, restaurants and bars along the River Torridge. Make sure you’re back in time to warm up by the wood burner and watch the stars appear over the hills.

The cabin was excellent, in a quiet and comfy setting! The onsite pub was also great and the food was great.
