The pretty semi-detached cottage of Journey’s End is just 2 and a half miles from the ancient town of Launceston. Sitting next to the owner’s stunning country house, this cottage and its idyllic setting create a lovely place for a holiday near to both the Devon town and coast. Whether you are relaxing with a drink in hand on the garden swing or preparing a picnic in the kitchen for a fun day at the beach, you’ll be sure to feel all your worries slowly melting away at Journey’s End.
Head inside and you’ll find a stylish and contemporary open-plan living space set across one level. Cool grey and blue tones run throughout the cottage giving it a feeling of light and space yet the touches of colour give it a warm and welcoming feel. An enclosed lawn and gravelled patio area at the front of the property is the perfect place to relax in the hot tub with a tasty BBQ although canines and children will especially love the shared dog-walking paddock and stream. Please bear in mind though that both must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
A conveniently short drive from the A30, you will have the perfect opportunity to discover both Cornwall and Devon. Walkers and cyclists can explore the Dartmoor National Park, 15 miles, and Bodmin Moor, 14 miles. The charming seaside harbour resorts of Looe and Polperro, under a 30-mile drive south, are a must-see with their colourful fishing boats and quaint shops, while beach lovers will adore Bude and its huge expanses of sand, slightly nearer at 20 miles north of the property.
