A beautiful wooden chalet nestled in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, Becks Meadow Lodge is arranged over a single level, providing a secluded romantic retreat. Thoughtful touches, stylish design elements and extra features such a private hot tub and wood burner make it a wonderful choice for a getaway with your loved one.

Stepping from the decked veranda into the bright and spacious open-plan layout of the lodge, you’ll feel immediately at home. Cook together in the contemporary kitchen area, dine by the window overlooking the garden and countryside beyond and then snuggle up on the comfortable sofa in front of the TV while the wood burner crackles. The double bedroom lies at the opposite end of the lodge, providing a cosy place to retreat to at the end of a busy day exploring and enjoying each other’s company. In the garden, take an indulgent dip in the private hot tub, or relax in the hammock on warm days, surrounded by blissful countryside.

The Ruby Way passes close by for those looking to get out and explore the local countryside and the Tarka Trail starts 8.5 miles way in Meeth. On a sunny day, head to the beach at Bude (17.5 miles) or take a wander along the South West Coast Path which offers stunning scenery at any time of year. Roadford Lake offers more walking and water sports opportunities. If you don’t fancy cooking after busy days out, the local pub is less than half a mile away.

Lovely lodge, very secure the garden was great for the dog. The hot tub was gorgeous even in the rain! Hazel was a great host and looked after us well. An excellent lodge very well equipped and a great hot tub. We were made very welcome by Hazel and Stephen who were very helpful with local knowledge. Our two dogs were also made welcome and we really enjoyed the break.

This is a fabulous property in the heart of rural Devon. There's a huge number of places to visit within an easy drive and a visit to the village pub to try to west country tapas is a must. We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was very well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The hot tub was a real bonus after a long days walking. We had a fantastic stay and was just the getaway we needed. The Lodge is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Perfect outdoor areas, which were completely enclosed and suitable for our dog. The hot tub was a glorious way to relax in the beautiful outdoors.

We highly recommend this lodge. Easy access to both north and south devon, Bude. The lodge was perfect for 2 adults and our dog. Takeaway places near by.

My husband & I plus our husky rented this lodge for 4 nights. Both of us have had cancer so wanted a break. Based on previous reviews & the pictures online we chose this place. The lodge was gorgeous, the best we have stayed in, the hot tub was a godsend as was the totally enclosed garden for our dog. This is spectacular lodge in a fantastic location with great access to surrounding area,host are fantastic but dont bother the but are very helpful. The hot tub is fantastic and a real asset to the experience. Already booked for next holiday

Very well equipped and comfortable lodge. Lovely quiet location. Hazel was an excellent host, very welcoming and showed us around on our arrival. Freshly baked bread was super and the dogs loved their treats. The hot tub was gorgeous to relax in after our walks. We drove to lots of lovely locations.

We had a lovely holiday, with our dog,Eva. As we walked into cabin at start, the smell of fresh bread greeted us, there was tea coffee biscuits and cream tea. The cabin was clean and welcoming, the area where we were was central to visiting places, jacuzzi was lovely , the cabin was comfortable and cosy.
