This little cottage is well equipped, very clean and just a stone's throw from the Appledore beach, Quay and car park. It was comfortable but very snug. It would suit a couple with a younger child (supervision on steep stairs would be needed), but was just too small for me and my two kids (13 and 10). There was quite a lot of noise at night around Read moreclosing time as the cottage is directly on the street. The garden is as pictured - a small patio with no view. A great cottage for a smaller family! Hide

Appledore is a lovely seaside town, the cottage was adequate. The path to the bbq area was overgrown and the garden area looked a bit neglected. Overall it was good value for the price paid.

The location is perfect and the area is amazing- the cottage itself is a brilliant base and had everything you needed. The only negatives are it was very cold and damp and had a damp smell - this would obviously be different in summer. But had everything we needed and we were left some wine and mince pies which was lovely

A great property with all you need in a central location for all local amenities. Loved being able to have my first coffee sat on the harbour steps enjoying the quietness and solitude of the early morning. Also loved that we could drive the dogs to either Instow or Westward Ho beaches close by for a walk before starting our day. The locals are veryRead more warm and welcoming and certainly added to the whole experience. I'm missing Appledore already and am already planning my next visit. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at Sals Place. The cottage was snug and cosy, the kitchen was well equipped and the double bed very comfortable. Bedding and towels clean and good quality, and we loved the little touches to the cottage. Lots of hot water for a bath after a day of walking the excellent surrounding beaches.
