A beautiful, detached, stone-built converted barn, Tennacott Lodge enjoys stunning, far-reaching views over the River Torridge and the Iron Bridge. Set on a working dairy farm, the cottage is an idyllic rural retreat for a group holiday. Larger groups can also book Tennacott April Cottage which sleeps six in the same location. Shared outdoor play equipment, miles of countryside walks right from the doorstep and the sandy beach of Westward Ho! are just 5 miles away: there’s so much to entertain guests of all ages.
With underfloor heating throughout the downstairs, Tennacott Lodge offers a warm welcome from the outset. The spectacular views can be enjoyed from the kitchen and lounge, both of which have doors onto the patio which is a scenic spot for a BBQ. The five bedrooms offer a selection of king-size doubles and twins, ideal for families or friends. The three double rooms are en-suite, one of which boasts a luxurious whirlpool bath.
Guests are welcome to walk across the fields and can join the Tarka Trail within a mile.
