Located in a homely and secluded complex 1.5 miles from Westward Ho!, this cottage is a cosy retreat that offers guests an authentic taste of the North Devon experience. Backing onto rolling hills, you'll have good access to the beach, country walks and exciting adventures all within 5 miles, whilst at the cottage itself you can visit the resident goats, sheep and chickens roaming the grounds, or discover the shared children’s play area and a shared heated pool.

The pretty farmhouse-style stone facade greets you, while inside the decor is fresh and homely with an open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Upstairs, four comfortable bedrooms provide the perfect place to tuck yourselves away for a good night's sleep after evenings spent BBQ'ing out by the pool while the children enjoy a dip. The first floor has a shower room with WC, whilst the second floor has a shower over bath with WC.

Just 3 miles from the property in Appledore, you will find Skern Lodge Outdoor Activity Centre, where you can enjoy kayaking, rock-climbing, abseiling and more against the backdrop of the stunning North Devon coast. If adrenalin isn’t for you, then Appledore is also host to the North Devon Maritime Museum - a fascinating look at the maritime history of Devon just 3.5 miles away. Whatever you do, just make sure you’re back on Westward Ho! beach (1.5 miles away) for sunset on the soft sand.

Lovely cottage with a great area for dog to play, park was very nice. Swimming pool was a great feature and was used a lot over the visit. Out of the way, which was great, but also a pub a couple of minutes walk

Cottage very clean and well presented , could have done with a bigger fridge and dishwasher. But overall good location and childrens facilities, pool could have been warmer. Pub next door friendly food good.

We had a wonderful stay at Bramling Cottage. It was perfect for all of us and my children absolutely loved the swimming people. Great location and central to everywhere. We will definitely be back.

Lovely little secluded farm based house. It was clean, tidy and had a homely feel. Nice sized pool and kids play area. We felt well accommodated and well looked after by the owner, it is only a short drive (with small kids) or you could walk to town. Very peaceful, with a pub just round the corner.

Beautiful property, fab quiet area , had pool to ourselves daily ( bonus ) property was well presented and had everything needed ! It was quite musty smelling even after us having windows and doors open didn't stop us enjoying our wk though!

We had a nice time and the owners were friendly and accommodating. However we found that our particular cottage lacked a number of features that the other cottages had which isn't reflected in the price that we paid especially when compared to the cottage next door. The bed collapsed on the first night which wasn't a great start. Would be nice if tRead morehe swimming pool was open for the Easter Holidays. Quite a lot of steep steps in the cottage we stayed in so beware if you have elderly staying. Hide

Lovely property situated in a very quiet location, a short distance up a very narrow lane. Property was immaculately clean on arrival, and easy to gain access to. Property is set over three floors. Nice cottage, close to amenities. Main draw was pool for when our sons were bored, but complaints about noise in the pool by holiday makers with young children put a dampener on the holiday. Poor Wi-Fi meant we had some bored sons as we struggled to get our amazon firestick tv to stream in evenings (provided cable TVs freeview wasnt interesting) anRead mored area has poor mobile reception for devices. Holiday Cottages kept calling us to complain despite agreement with owners to keep noise down. Unhappy Hide

Such an amazing place to stay , clean , spacious and great location. The kids and myself loved to pool and the grounds. House was amazingly beautiful and worked really well over three floors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bramling Cross cottage, it suited our needs very well. The area surrounding the property is wonderful and the pool was a big hit with the children and adults.
