Situated just 1 mile from the pretty village of Wembury, this cottage is one of three properties on the farm that has glorious valley views. Cosy and comfortable with a traditional cottage feel, this quaint stone cottage is an opportunity to embrace life by the coast and country. Wake up in one of the calm and peaceful bedrooms, then head outside to the patio to watch the sun rising over the rolling hills with your morning coffee.

Whether you’re snuggled up in a chair in the lounge or enjoying a fulfilling meal around the table in the kitchen diner, it’s easy to relax here. The interiors reflect the rural position of the property, with tranquil neutrals and homely features dotted throughout. On warm days, head out to the patio area with seating, offering an ideal space for al fresco dining since there’s a BBQ that’s free for you to use. If the weather isn’t so good, the dining area provides a homely place for you to have a meal while looking out at the pretty views through the attractive wooden windows.

Walk the South West Coast Path from Wembury Beach (2 miles) to the former HMS Cambridge, absorbing some stunning sea views along the way. Wembury Marine Centre is located just before the beach and is a great place to learn about the wildlife in the area. Pop to Newton Ferrers (7 miles) with its vibrant harbour and watch the boats bob to and fro over a drink. If you crave some city living, drive to Plymouth (7 miles), where you’ll find plenty of high street shops and restaurants. Make sure to visit the historic Barbican area while you’re here too.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely part of the country. Maybe not so good if kiddy/sandy beaches wanted. Leather sofa past it. Slept in the King Size room & the mattresses were very comfy. Mouldy shower curtain. Very rude electrician. Appreciated option to have accidental damage waiver. DVD player, biscuits & pint of milk were appreciated. Fields full of pheRead moreasants. Kitchen had everything needed but teacloths didn't dry and left fluff on everything. Host was very welcoming. Plenty warm enough. Hide

The cottage was comfortable, quiet with plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and had a lovely outlook on to the fields. The separate lounge was a comfortable room to sit and relax. We hope to return again.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Fully equipped, cosy with plenty of room for up to 5 people. Close to local amenities. We were given great recommendations by Fiona of places to visit and eat.

We (2 adults + 2 children) had a lovely week's stay here over a very wet and windy Easter. The cottage is well equipped, warm and comfortable, and we had a warm welcome from the owner. This is a gorgeous , quaint cottage in a beautiful location. We have been coming here for close on 15 years! It feels very much like home from home. Fiona is so helpful and friendly and we look forward to seeing her every year.

The cottage is large and well equipped for a few weeks stay in Devon. The kitchen has everything you need (even sherry glasses!) and the lounge is comfy. The three rooms have ample storage for clothes and two have dressing/mirror areas. The single room is far from a box room and so cosy there was a fight for it! The hot water is excellent and the sRead moreecond shower downstairs was perfect for coming in from the beach. I found the dishwasher, washer/dryer, and the clothes line outside a godsend. Hide
