You don’t have to go abroad for gorgeous sandy beaches, as Torcross is 2 miles away. You can also visit Slapton Sands which lies on one side of a strip of seaside and the stunning Slapton Ley on the other. 4 miles further south from the property is the striking Start Point Lighthouse, high up on an exposed peninsula. Placed on mystical jagged cliffs with overwhelming views of the bay, this is a must-see for those who appreciate magical coastal sunsets.

A superb holiday lodge in a very quiet location. Very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped modern kitchen. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bedrooms. Dogs loved the garden. Being all on one level was great. We would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful holiday home. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. The garden was perfect for our dogs and had plenty of wildlife. No walks direct from the house unless you want to walk along the road, but with Beesands so close, it wasn't really a problem. All in all, a very nice holiday home.

Lovely house in wonderful surroundings. The house is incredibly well equipped, the owners have literally thought of everything. It was a home away from home.

A great place to stay, we have stayed many times before. Great dog friendly garden. A good location for exploring the area, we had a lovely walk to Beesands. Great local information from the owner prior to our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the area. We will be back!

A lovely home in a great quiet location, we have returned here for several holidays. Its so close to the beach at Bee Sands & so many other beautiful places to visit e.g. Dartmouth, Salcombe and Burgh Island.

Beautiful place and so quiet. Clean, light and airy. Grassy enclosed garden with patio. Lovely beaches close by (Mill Bay is just lovely but narrow to get to!) and the ferry across from East Portlemouth to Salcombe was great! I would definitely recommend this holiday to anyone in need of a quiet break away!

A beautifully presented and well equipped property. Very spacious with plenty of room for my wheelchair using husband. The location was a bit isolated for us, as we had hoped to be a bit nearer to Kingsbridge, but perfect if you are wanting easy access to beaches.

Perfect accommodation & we enjoyed our stay. Easy access, wide open doorways and private. We found how to access the microwave in the combi oven from Google. You need to click the home button and select the microwave symbol. Great for sanitising baby bottles. Excellent guest info book & we used it to plan our stay. The cottage was well presented with bags of equipment ! Ideal spot for getting to many places , with a good variety of pubs within easy reach by car. To clients with dogs it is worth noting that there are no immediate walks around the cottage and a car ride is essential to one of the beaches nearby. Road walks are out of the question ! A well equipped, spacious and very comfortable holiday home. A joy to be able to have our two dogs run around in the secure garden then have plenty of living space to flop down on the warm floor. Location was very quiet at night time and close to amenities and many beautiful local beaches. We can highly recommend and will consider returning again.

We had a wonderful stay at Curlew. The property is well equipped, comfortable, clean and beautifully peaceful and the secure garden was perfect for to our puppy. Curlew is well located to explore the local beaches and the town of Kingsbridge. I would highly recommend and would certainly stay again.
