This charming property has been furnished to a delightful standard throughout, making for the perfect family retreat. You are ideally situated in this corner of Devon to explore the English Riviera and all the attractions and landmarks along the southern coast and the rest of this beautiful county.

The fabulous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the centre of this former farmhouse property, boasts original beams, stonework and a traditional fireplace with wood burner, giving it a cosy homely feel. This is a great place to sit back, relax and watch TV or a movie after a long day exploring the local surroundings. You can dine in while sitting at the attractive farmhouse-style table, or eat alfresco in the rear garden where you also have the choice of cooking in the pizza oven and later relaxing in the hot tub. To the front of the property there is a small enclosed garden, offering a lovely area for young children and dogs to enjoy the outdoors.

The market town of Bovey Tracey (2 miles) is within easy reach of the property and boasts a fortnightly farmers' market and an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and family activities. Explore one of the peaceful walks nearby, take in the beautiful surroundings whilst walking around the National Trust-owned Park (2 miles) or along the trail from Bovey Valley Woods (4 miles) to Lustleigh (5.5 miles). Why not visit one of the nearby beaches? Dawlish (13 miles) and Dawlish Warren (16 miles) both offer beautiful sandy beaches and local amenities. Family fun days can be enjoyed at Paignton Zoo and Environmental Park (15 miles) and Crealy Adventure Park (17 miles).

This cottage is beautiful the photos on this website don't do it justice it really is lovely got nearly everything you may need. In a great location to lots of different places. It's peaceful and quiet. The owner is very helpful and always on hand to give you what you need. Very clean and a nice welcome pack with goodies on arrival. We had a great Read moreweek hear. Hide

The cottage was absolutely perfect! We stayed for two nights on New Years Eve. Perfect for close action to Dartmour. Perfect for getting away from it all. Close access to Bovey Tracey. HIGHLY recommend Chanbury's Woodfired Pizza if you're looking for a cheeky takeout. The hosts were really nice and accommodating. We were so happy with Little Bovey. We all said we should have booked two weeks instead of five days! If only we knew how lovely it was before our six hour journey. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. Really lovely place. The open fire was perfect for our christmas stay and we gave the hot tub and pizza oven a go to. We were chuffed Read moreto bits with our stay! Our two dogs also loved it. The garden is enclosed completely which game us peace of mind. Beautiful house and area. Will be bk Hide

Nice place fairly well equipped, hot tub a bonus after a hard day's holiday making. The log burner was very efficient and only used it for the effect.

Cottage is nicely presented and a good size for 2 people, the downstairs would be a little compact for more people. The location was good for exploring south Devon however there is significant road noise from the Exeter dual carriageway with the windows open. Bovey Tracey has a fantastic park for running your dog opposite the Co-Op.

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was was beautiful and well equipped. The hot tub and log fire were a welcome addition after a long day exploring. We would definitely book again.

Lovely place to stay, nice and quiet but within easy reach of the coast and Dartmoor. Very dog friendly in front and rear gardens with treats and dog bowels for them plus a very nice welcome pack on arrival. Hot tub well used during our stay and being under cover made it even better.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful location. Very cosy with lots of interesting features. Super comfy bed. Kitchen well equipped. Parking outside the door. Enclosed garden perfect for dogs. Welcome basket was a very nice touch. Good location for exploring Dartmoor.

The cottage is centrally located and lovely and cosy and warm, the garden is great and enclosed for our dog. Loved the hot tub. Dan and Justine were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of nice walks near by. We would love to visit again in the future.
