Pop down to the beach whenever you like and return to this spacious and stylish Edwardian property situated in Combe Martin, North Devon. Sleeping 11 guests in stylish elegant surroundings and offering an attractive garden to the front aspect, it is the perfect place to enjoy a special break away with friends or family.

Stepping up to the front door of this property, guests climb two small flights of external steps through the front garden, before entering into the welcoming hallway with its mosaic floor. The first of two reception rooms is an attractive retreat, offering not only a Smart TV/DVD but also a fun Nintendo Wii games console. A separate lounge/diner offers guests more space to enjoy spending time together and has been elegantly furnished with a large dining table at one end and a restful seating area at the other. There is further space to eat in the adjacent kitchen/diner which has been well-equipped with a well-chosen range of equipment, including a Range-style oven and a Belfast sink. Upstairs there are six bedrooms, one of which, the restful single room, benefits from its own TV. The spacious front garden with a pretty terraced seating area is complemented by a private patio to the rear.

Combe Martin is an attractive seaside village which strikes the perfect balance between being a relaxing coastal retreat and a well-appointed resort. All of the village amenities including the shops and cafes are situated just a few hundred metres from the property, whilst the attractive pebbled beach can be easily reached via a short 0.5-mile walk.

We can thoroughly recommend Hillview for a family/group holiday. It is spacious and well equipped and in an excellent position with sufficient parking. It has a very effective heating system that largely offsets the fact that most windows are single glazed

Great location and ideal property for our family half-term holiday. We stayed warm and dry even during Storm Ciaran! Just a short walk to the beach and local facilities.

We had a lovely long weekend at the villa, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and sofas. Great location and much appreciated welcome baskets (for humans and canines). We used it as a base for Lynmouth, Lynton, Woolacombe, Lee Bay and Exmoor - a wonderful mix of beaches and forest walks so even in the rain theres lots to do! Good sized well equipped house for a large family party like ours. The house is in an excellent location and nicely set back off the road at the end of a short drive with ample parking. It is a short walk to the beach, shops and bus stops for the open top coastal bus service to to Ilfracombe , Minehead and Lynmouth/Lynton. Lovely, spacious and comfortable house ideally located in easy walking distance of the beach and town. We all had a fantastic holiday with plenty of activities nearby - boat and fishing trip, clay pigeon shooting, surfing, paddleboarding and two perfect beach days at Woolacoombe and Croyde. Hillview was just the perfect house for a family to stay in well equipped and comfy. We had a lovely touch with the welcome package of tea and coffee and other bits. Location was perfect short walk from Combe Martin centre and beach. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stunning house, a real home from home. A short downhill walk to the nearest shop and the beach. One beach dog friendly but steps are very big and steep. Worth it when you get there though. Beautiful beach and clear water, we went there every day. One day we had a barbecue at the house too and made use of the outside sitting area. There were a lot oRead moref us and we all enjoyed the week. We had 4 cars and a motorbike which filled the parking area. Had to juggle cars to get out sometimes. Hide

A well maintained and airy house, giving ample space for a large group to get along with each other. Well equipped also. Close to the beach and on the coastal path with ample wonderful walks around. Combe Martin has plenty to discover, as long as. You like hills.
