The cabin makes a wonderful base for walks and rides through the beautiful Tamar Valley or for heading into Dartmoor, where attractions include Cotehele Mill (5 miles), Buckland Abbey, Lydford Gorge and Foggintor Quarry (all within 14.5 miles). The historic town of Tavistock (8 miles) has a range of restaurants and pubs, as well as a pannier market, cinema and swimming pool complex, as well as walks in the park and along the River Tavy.
