The downstairs double room, accessed via a flight of stairs, has superb country views via patio doors. Within the enclosed lakeside patio you’ll find a BBQ, seating and a fantastic hot tub, with its own woodland and water views.
There are so many day trips to enjoy. Discover gorgeous Morwellham Quay (6 miles), with its historic port, village, copper mine and railway. Explore the Cotehele estate (10 miles), with its Tudor house perched high above the River Tamar, gardens, orchards, quay and tea room. The ancient city of Plymouth is just 16 miles away, with its excellent Barbican Theatre, exciting shops, pubs, art galleries and museums. Children should try the Dartmoor Mystery Treasure Trail, which may just start a lifelong love affair with Devon and the moor.
