The kitchen is compact and contemporary and offers a calm space in which to cook, accompanied by music on the DAB radio. Dine in style by the window and enjoy recalling the day’s memories. Climb the steep stairs to reach the spacious, calming king-size bedroom and large bathroom with double-ended bath and separate walk-in shower. Ascend a final set of stairs to reach the twin and a single room. For sunny tipples and morning coffees, two separate decked terrace areas are the perfect places to unwind and soak up the sun. Take care on the shared steep steps leading to these lovely areas.
Step outside and into the harbourside town of Brixham where you can spend your day watching the rippling water, roaming the streets studded with local galleries, shops and cafes and exploring the replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship, the Golden Hind. Take the 6-mile day trip to Paignton Zoo to entertain young members of the family and enjoy the fabulous facilities and array of animals. For sea and sand, visit Breakwater beach, less than a mile from the cottage.
