Inside, original wooden flooring and a charming feature fireplace blend with a stylish contemporary kitchen, while outside the enclosed garden offers a sunny spot for enjoying relaxing al fresco meals. Wander into town to explore Brixham’s shops and cafes, soak up the sun on the beach or take to the South West Coast Path for breathtaking views of the rugged coastline, wildlife and fascinating geology.

This bungalow has been lovingly furnished and fitted to create a welcoming home-from-home with plenty of character and charm throughout. Rustle up tasty meals in the chic kitchen before dining with a sea view at the table in the fabulous bay window. Summer evenings are best spent in the sunny garden, while for those chilly nights there’s no better place to relax and unwind than in the charming lounge, which features a Victorian fireplace, stripped wooden flooring and a selection of books and games to keep you entertained.

The property's cul-de-sac location makes it the perfect choice for young families. With colourful fisherman’s cottages, an array of independent shops and eateries, a choice of beaches and a busy working harbour, Brixham (less than half a mile from your door) is a lively and traditional seaside town with plenty to see and do. Once you have finished exploring the town itself, take to the water to try your hand at fishing or visit neighbouring Torquay. Also within easy reach, is vibrant Totnes (11 miles), the vast Dartmoor National Park (16 miles) and the breathtaking South West Coast Path.

  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.
  • Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars
  • There will be no house access possible until 4pm on the day of arrival, but guests who arrive early are invited to park their vehicle on the driveway from the 11am time that the departing guests have to vacate
  • The owners regret that no form of 'Welcome Pack' can be provided as they do not live in Devon and as the cleaners are unable to do so
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

This is our second time here, the first being a good few years ago. i dont think you can beat the location, you may not get a view of the harbour but there is a seaview and a flat stroll to the harbour side and also near to Berry Head and Breakwater. the driveway parking is great as is the enclosed garden. very comfortable and reasonably equipped

Very close to the shops and restaurants a few steps and slight hill. The bungalow was very comfortable. The narrow entrance to the street can be avoided as there is another way around.

This home had everything you need to make your stay perfect. Lovely quiet area within easy walk to Brixham Harbour and the lovely bars and restaurants etc . Will happily stay here again

This was the second time we stayed at this beautiful bungalow and it did not disappoint. Our dogs loved the big spacious garden and with only a stones throw from the harbour. Definitely home from home with all the equipment you need for a perfect stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in Brixham at Newlands. It was a beautifully presented bungalow and very comfortable. The garden was a lovely suntrap and very peaceful. Great for our dog. The view from the front window was amazing.

A lovely two bedroom end Bungalow in a wonderful location . This is our 6th. Visit which says it all . To sit at the table in the Bay Window to have your meal , read or do whatever hobby you enjoy is sheer magic .What more can I say ! We keep returning .

Excellent accommodation ideally situated for all amenities. Very tranquil surroundings with beautiful views all around. Lovely enclosed garden area ideal for alfresco. Shops, restaurants, beach all within 10 mins walk. Accommodation really spacious and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again

Fantastic views, we have stayed in Devon and Cornwall on many occasions, but this position beats them all . Only downside is the Harbour shops and seafood stalls close to early.
