From here, you can catch a ferry to the popular, upmarket town of Dartmouth, with its independent shops and acclaimed eateries. For kids (big or small), Splashdown Quay West Waterpark (5 miles) and Paignton Zoo (4 miles) are a must. Alternatively, spend a lazy day on one of the many sand or pebble beaches nearby.
